Tami Revolution Double Hoodie by New Horizons Designs
/Hello! It’s Weatherly from Love and Lilies Designs and I’m back again to tell you about the New Horizons Designs Tami Revolution Double Hoodie for Women. Before I get to the actual pattern there are a few things that I just must tell you about the instructions! This was my first New Horizons Designs pattern, and I am absolutely in love with the ease of navigation through the pattern instructions. New Horizons Designs included buttons at the bottom of each page that you can click to take you to whichever section of the pattern you are needing to look at! It was so incredibly nice to not have to scroll through tons of pages to find the section I needed.
This is a relaxed fit hoodie with options galore!
Your options include:
*HOOD - double, overlapped, or standard *POCKETS - kangaroo or inseam *CUFFS - thumbhole or standard *ZIPPER - accent or full zip up front
For my hoodie, I chose to do the double hood, no pockets because I wanted to use a panel for the front, standard cuffs, and, just for the fun of trying something completely new, the zipper accent at the shoulder.
The instructions are written well and easy to understand. Each direction is accompanied by a detailed picture to help with that step, which is great if you are more of a visual person like me! The pattern says that it is for beginners, and the only thing that might be a little tricky is the zipper accent on the shoulder. However, as stated before, this is where those pictures in the instructions will definitely come in handy, so do not shy away from trying this fun accent in this hoodie!
Overall, I really like the fit of the relaxed hoodie. I made mine in french terry, minus the front panel which is cotton lycra, and it is so super comfy!
