Portlander Pants by New Horizons
/My younger daughter is all about the matching mom-and-me outfits, so we were thrilled when New Horizons Designs recently released the girls version of the Portlander Pants. I loved the women's version and I decided to sew up a matching set for my little one and I.
I made her pants out of this adorable narwhal knit from Joann Fabric. We are heading on a cruise vacation soon and I thought the pants would make the perfect choice for the cooler nights on the ship. Plus, who doesn't love narwhals?
I used a store bought shirt to pair with the pants and designed a cute iron on transfer with my silhouette machine to personalize the shirt.
For my pants, I used a french terry that I got in a mystery box from Sincerely Rylee fabrics and it's super soft and comfortable. I used the narwhal print as my waistband to match my daughter since I didn't think I could pull off the full blown narwhal pants look like she can.
I made a cropped version of the pants for mine and they turned out really cute and cruise-y! I love the fit on both of us and I have already made another pair to wear on the cruise.
Rebecca and Rachel also made versions of the girls Portlander Pants below:
Today Gloria June sews up this super fun Harbor Hoodie from New Horizons. Using some faux sherpa fur, this hoodie is ready for some seriously stylish winter weather.
