Read MoreFall is in the air, and for women that means layers and comfy clothes to walk through the leaves, pick apples, and chase after screaming toddlers who are constantly running away (oh wait, maybe that is just me!).

Read MoreSometimes, on rare occasions, you get a spark of something and your mind just won't let it go until you make it happen. Today's review of the My Little Plumcake Sedona Vest is my latest sewing project that would not stop haunting me until I caved. Inspiration did take a while and I really didn't feel a drive to work on this one when Suzanne first posted the call for the review. After thinking about it for a while and thinking outside the box of fabrics I normally work with, a vision was born and I ran with it.

I am lucky enough to get some hand-me-downs from friends, but honestly, even though the other girls I know are older - most of them are smaller. Mack just has a broad and tall build, so my 2 year old needs a size 4, but even 4 tops can be short on her long torso.

Read MoreKeeping our trend of great pieces to transition into fall with, today we present the Polly Dress by Bubby&Me Creations. The Polly has adorable ruffles that extend past the shoulder - making it acceptable for most dress codes. It is also roomy enough to layer a shirt underneath - try making a tunic length and pair with a long sleeve top and leggings. You can also omit the ruffle to have a simpler dress that works perfectly with a jacket or cardigan. For fall, think of using baby wale cord, or other bottom weights that provide a bit more warmth but still have drape.
Here is Janette to show off her creation and to tell you all about the pattern....
