Read MoreWe've talked before about my love of versatility - if I can't make a pattern in 20 gazillion different ways, I rarely buy it. But the E&M #17 dress fits my love of versatility in every way possible. This is a dress - an A-line dress, an A-line dress with long or 3/4 length sleeve - both with optional cuffs, an A-line Dress that can have a defined waist with shirring, elastic, or a belt and belt loops, an A-line dress with a normal hem, high low hem, or a shirt tail hem, an A-line dress with a cowl neck or banded neck, and last but not least - an A-line dress with POCKETS. Don't we all love pockets!!!! But seriously, that is a ton of options all in one pattern.
Read MoreToday we share an adorable review that is just perfect for Fall and for School. I'm a huge fan of the warm and toasty dress designs from My Childhood Treasures, and the new Amy Dress does not disappoint.
Here are Kara and Carrie to show off their creations and give you a full rundown of the pattern....
Read MoreToday we take a look at the Lulu Pattern from Craftiness is not Optional. There is such a sweet simplicity to this pattern that just makes me think of kids at summer time play. It is the kind of dress you can see them sliding down slides in, and eating juicy pieces of watermelon, and running and running and running in........... oh wait, maybe only my kids run that much ;o)
The Lulu pattern is designed for knits and comes in sizes 12m-8yr. Here is Kari to tell us all about it!
Read MoreToday we take a look at a great Self Care sewing project, the Laurel Dress by Greenstyle Creations. This versatile pattern works for all seasons and all seasons of life. Check out what reviewers Ellen and Carrie did with this pattern!
Read MoreI'm super excited to share the California Girl Dress from Everything Your Mama Made!(It releases Saturday April 26 in the Bundle Up Bundle!!!!) I think Kymy may love knits more than I do and that is quite a feat, because I LOVE knits, but she makes the most amazing patterns for both children and women designed for comfy knit fabrics. I used the Purple Blue Feather Rows knit from Girl Charlee - it is lightweight and perfect for summer, but is a spandex blend so it has great stretch and recovery. (This was leftover from my Out And About Dress - thanks Girl Charlee!)
