E&M Dress#17 and FREE Legings

We've talked before about my love of versatility - if I can't make a pattern in 20 gazillion different ways, I rarely buy it.  But the E&M #17 dress fits my love of versatility in every way possible.  This is a dress - an A-line dress, an A-line dress with long or 3/4 length sleeve - both with optional cuffs, an A-line Dress that can have a defined waist with shirring, elastic, or a belt and belt loops, an A-line dress with a normal hem, high low hem, or a shirt tail hem, an A-line dress with a cowl neck or banded neck, and last but not least - an A-line dress with POCKETS.  Don't we all love pockets!!!!  But seriously, that is a ton of options all in one pattern.

If you are starting out in knits, this is a great pattern to get and play with, you will learn tons of techniques and get an entire wardrobe of dresses for your little girl.  If you are advanced in knits, you are going to want this just for it's versatility because it is going to cover something that you don't already own!

About the Pattern:

  • Size 2-10
  • Measurement Chart, Cutting Chart, and Printing Chart
  • 18 pages of digitally drafted B&W pattern pieces with size denoted by dashed lines.
  • Clear markings on the pattern for each option
    • 3/4 or long sleeves each with cuffs
    • Shirt tail hem, high low hem, regular hem
    • cowl neck or banded neck
    • Belt and Belt loops, elastic measurements
    • pockets
  • Clear photographs with each step of the instructions and additional tips if using a serger

This is cuteness in a dress!!!  I just fell in love with this Art Gallery fabric form the Cherie line - the girls on bicycles are so whimsical.  My daughter loves it, I love it, and I already have another one in the works - this time with a cowl neck and a belted waist.
