Oh, Simple Life Pattern Company how I love thee ! Nacole here to give you a review on the newly released pattern Lucy from SLPC. I'm not sure how you feel about open backed dresses but here in my house I love them. There is something so sweet to me about them. SLPC sure has a great range to choose from too!

This pattern features a unique racer back style that is mostly found in knit clothing and a curved front bodice. The back has buttons and a placket for easy on and off. This pattern included a narrow or wide style for the back for your choosing and includes tunic and dress even includes a adorable pocket pattern piece (not shown on my dress) The pattern ranges in size 2t-12 all in one pattern!

The back of this dress caught my attention. As I mentioned above I have a thing about open back dresses. This racer back is like no other I've seen yet in a woven so I was excited to sew something new. The pattern was very quick always well written and understandable. The fit was perfection and the entire dress took about 2 hours print to hem (with a few pit stops of mommy duty of course)! Who doesn't love a quick sew.
