Hi Friends!  I’m here today to talk about the Moxi Shorts by Greenstyle.  When I first saw this pattern, I knew these shorts were exactly what my picky, athletic, teen daughter would like.   These shorts aren’t just for athletes though.  They are stylish and comfortable which makes them great for anyone.

The Moxi pattern comes with several options.  There is a choice of adding an attached pair of briefs or a thong under the shorts.  There is also an option to add a zipper pocket to the back waistband.  Fitting options are provided to help with any needed adjustments.

I made the size 0 with the briefs and no alterations.  The shorts fit nicely and are perfect for her to participate in her various activities or to just wear around the house.  The designer includes a list of fabrics to use for this pattern.  I made these shorts with a stretch woven from The Fabric Fairy.  The material has a great weight and texture.  The style of the shorts combined with the fabric selection reminds me of something I would see in a sporting goods store.  All the girls in my family want a pair, and I love that this pattern provides the size range to accommodate everyone in my family.  I’m even going to make a pair for me.
