Shenanigan Skort by 5 out of 4 Patterns
/ Sarah UnthankHi! I'm Maryanna from Marvelous Auntie M reviewing the Shenanigans Skort by 5 out of 4 patterns. I must say that I have found a new wardrobe staple pattern.
The Shenanigans Skort includes pattern pieces for the skirt, optional flounce, optional ball pocket and waistband. Measurements are given for the optional patch pocket and waistband elastic. There is also a tutorial on their blog for a zippered pocket. I used a cotton lycra french terry for the skirt and waistband and supplex for the shorts.
There are three skirt length options ranging from Sporty Spice to Prudent, and four shorts length options ranging from 1.5" to 7". I chose to do the safety length skirt with the 3" inseam shorts. I left off the optional flounce and pockets for this one. I did the enclosed elastic waistband since I wasn’t sure about the recovery of my french terry.
There are so many different combinations with this pattern that you can make everything from a tennis skort to a date night skort. Add some fun to your skort with a fun print or bright color for the shorts.
