I fell in love with this sweet Heather Ross print that recently released from the line Tiger Lily. This dress is the perfect match. With the details of the cuff, collar, and hem band choosing coordinating prints really show off the main print. A stunning vintage inspired dress.
The dress is recommended to be made knee length. When choosing a size to make, pay close attention to the bust finished measurement as the pattern suggests add 3-4” to the child’s actual chest measurement to allow for ease in the style of garment.
The pattern was easy to follow with lots of photos and directions and tips along the way. The hem band and sleeve cuffs are both sewn to enclose the seams for all of you that love that! The collar is fully lined also. I chose to topstitch the collar all the way around to help it lay flat. This dress is perfect for the upcoming weather- just add some boots or tights and throw on a little cardigan and off you go to all the festivities of fall. Versatile pattern for all the seasons too!
