Hi! I'm Taryn, from A Sparkly Baby,
and I drew the lucky stick and got to sew up a pattern from Patterns for Pirates
by Judy Hale! I
chose the Boyfriend
VNeck Tee because my wardrobe consists mostly of
tee shirts and jeans, and that?s how I roll. This pattern ROCKS! Judy has
layers, no trim pages, and the most amazing directions for making the perfect
V! If you were ever afraid of a V neck collar, Judy makes it easy and there is
even two different ways to do it! I made this tee, tried it on, fell in love,
and laid it out to wear the next day. At some point, my fancy new tee was
stolen by my teenage daughter, sadly, but when I saw how amazing she looked and
felt when she modeled it for me, I?m not sorry. We all remember those awkward
teen years, and my almost 15 year old is right in the middle of that hormonal
horror. I have tried for years to find her a pattern or style she likes, that will flatter her 5?10? frame and her 36DD bust,
but haven?t been able to until to find the right one. Until
the Boyfriend
Vneck. She loves this shirt, it drapes
beautifully on her, and she says she?d trade all of her name brand red bulls
eye tee?s in for a couple of these mama mades. ?Nuff said. Judy is the bomb.
