Saguaro Knit Tunic and Lantana Leggings from Honeydew Kisses
/Hello, Heather from All Things Katy!, here! Today, I’m here to review a new-to-me designer, Honeydew Kisses. I sewed up two of their newer patterns, The Saguaro Knit Tunic & Dress and The Lantana Moto Leggings. For a point of reference, I sewed up a straight size 9/10 in both patterns. The top was sewn up in a cotton interlock body with cotton lycra bands. The leggings were completely sewn up in cotton lycra.
The Saguaro Knit Tunic & Dress is a quick and satisfying sew. With just four main pattern pieces, (plus bands), The Saguaro Knit Tunic & Dress sews up quickly and easily. The A-line profile is flattering and my daughter loves the cold shoulder detail!
The Lantana Moto Leggings are the perfect complement piece to the simplicity of The Saguaro Knit Tunic & Dress. Step-by-step pictures and easy-to-follow instructions helped me achieve the subtle moto style thigh detail (trust me, it’s very doable!). *Note, I did NOT topstitch (as the pattern instructs).* The Lantana Moto Leggings are fun, trendy AND well-fitting!
While The Saguaro Knit Tunic & Dress and The Lantana Moto Leggings were my first two patterns from Honeydew Kisses, they certainly won’t be my last. Sew much fun!
