The Annie Dress from Violette Field Threads
/ Katie HancockToday is day 3 of our Spring Dress series and we are showing off a dress to please even your most particular dress wearer, the Annie from Violette Field Threads. I love the braided trim on this one! It's the perfect pop of color and touch of whimsy.
When choosing patterns to sew for my daughters my oldest has a specific list of do’s and don'ts so I have to make sure I oblige or she won't wear it. Currently she will not wear halter dresses, no matter how cute I tell her they are! So, I went looking for some new dress patterns and fell in love with the braided straps of the Annie! The braided straps creates such a unique garment that I couldn't pass it up. I also love that the pattern from Violette Field Threads has two dress length options and a romper option! Our dress turned out perfectly, the simple skirt makes it easy to play in and the braided straps gives it a unique, elegant look!
