Patriotic Puppy Love

We are continuing our look as Patriotic inspiration for your kiddos wardrobes!!!! Today we have Kim sharing some Brownie Goose and Ruby Jeans Closet fun with the newest addition to her family!!!! PUPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, This is Kim from KimmieSewCrazy : ). I came up with two 4th of July creations this year! We always spend the day in a neighboring town where they have a huge parade and small town festival that includes a giant water slide hosted by the local fire department. So Mila needed both the dress and the swimsuit to fully celebrate the day. I used the Brownie Goose Katie Top Pattern, I just lengthened it a bit for the dress. For the swim suit I used the Gidget Pattern by Ruby Jean's Closet (paper pattern through Simplicity) in size 3t, Mila is still in a 2 so its just a tad big and the paper pattern is slightly different from the PDF, but here is the link to the pdf version, also reviewed here. I grabbed all of the fabrics from Joanns.
