It is here - the month long sewing extravaganza that is 'Sew Yourself Some Love'. This month we are encouraging women to take a moment of time to care for themselves so that they can better care for their families, friends, and other loved ones in their lives. We hope you all feel encouraged, uplifted, and cared for in this month long journey - and beyond.

In an effort to encourage you to maybe take the first step of sewing for yourself, or maybe the step of sharing pictures of those creations with us; we have arranged some fabulous prizes for you to enter to win. We are calling them 'Build a Better Wardrobe' Prizes. You may be a lucky lady with a gorgeous closet full of things that fit you perfectly and you love to wear, but my closet is not quite up to that standard. My closet has clothes in it.... it does, but half of them don't fit me, a quarter of the remaining are fancy dresses that I have no occasion to wear, and the remaining quarter are a mixture of pieces from the last decade that I struggle to mix and match into a semblance of an ensemble that looks remotely good on me and is comfortable. Hey, I chase after three toddlers all day long - if it isn't comfortable, I am not wearing it! The result is a cacophony of the haphazard... and that isn't the reflection of who I am and who I am created to be that I want to show the world. Well we will have two ways to enter to win one of THREE fabulous prizes.

First there will be our Self Care Sewing Link Up Party. You can enter ANYTHING that you sew for yourself this month - clothing, accessory, bag, etc... There will be two prizes with the Link Up Party. One will be a Judges Choice, and the other will be a Random Generator - so every single entry has two chances to win!!!! WHO ARE THE JUDGES?????

The amazing ladies from Simple Simon & Co, Elizabeth and liZ will be joining us as judges. These women know a thing or two about sewing and fashion.... and sewing competitions! They are the masterminds behind Project Run and Play and Project Sewn, and we are so excited that they have taken some time out of their very busy schedules to help us out.

Tina from Bee Quilted & More has a long list of sewing accolades, and now with her own shop, knows quite a bit about fabric as well. She joins us as Judge #3

We round out our judging panel with Danielle of Whimsical Fabric. She sells fabric, patterns, and blanks over at her shop and hosts sewalongs throughout the year on her blog to help introduce you to new pattern designers or styles.
