Terra's Treasures Long Beach Board Shorts Sew Along Day 4

Phew, it's the home stretch! Let's dive in! Start on the bottom of page 7 by making your bias tape for the drawstrings.

And I forgot to take a picture of it sewn all nicely onto the elastic, so I hope you can forgive me and refer to Terra's lovely photo in the pattern. Next add your interfacing and mark your holes.

Make your holes for the drawstring.

Next, you fold down your waistband and sew the back only (for drawstrings).

Insert your elastic and drawstrings.

Time to finish! Only the hem left. You may have noticed in my photos I have serged around my waistband and hems. I'm just a little OCD. I have to have to have a clean finish, even if it isn't seen, plus it makes it easier when turning under.

TaaaaDaaaa!
