Read MoreWe certainly love our self-care sewing here at Pattern Revolution, and even more-so when busy women take the time to reward themselves with a confidence-boosting new outfit. Nichole is here today to share a brand new designer, Kimberly, of Straight Stitch Designs. We hope you ooh and ahh over this pattern as much as we have!

Hey everyone! I'm Nichole, from Full of Grace Boutique. Back here to bring you a review on a super adorable top from Straight Stitch Designs. the Ravenna.
As soon as I saw that exposed zipper on the back, I just knew I wanted to sew this up!! This top has several different options for you...so let's get down to it and go over this little gem.
This is a flirty little scoop neck shirt, that has two sleeve options, as well as two hem options. And my favorite part of all, a low cut back that you can adorn with a ruffle and finish off with an exposed zipper. As you can see, I choose to leave the ruffle off, and I still think it looks just as flirty and fun. You could really have a lot of creative fun with this one, and I plan on making many more. I choose to size up in this shirt for personal preference, but next time I will stick to suggested size.
Overall, I really enjoyed sewing this shirt up! Was very impressed by her pattern, I still can't believe this is the first pattern Kimberly released!!
The Ravenna pairs perfectly with your favorite leggings or skinnies. And just perfect for fall! Go check it out!!

Today we get to show off the Compass Sweatshirt by My Little Plumcake. I really love the unique cowl hood on this - so warm and cozy, but still stylish. Use fleece or sweatshirt fabric for cold temps, or lighter weight knits for a perfect fall layering piece.

Read MoreA lot of what I make for my daughter is knit, it is just so comfy and easy for her to play in. But There are some woven designs that I just fall in love with and have to make for her - and I am particularly happy when they are just as comfy and easy for her to play in. That is the case with the Laura Dress by Lily Bird Studios. Add to that the gorgeous construction and you may just have a new favorite on your hands.

A simple top with a unique neckline, and plenty of room for expressing your style through fabric, trims, maybe even a pocket or applique!
For those headed into fall, pair this adorable top with a jean jacket and some adorable pants, or make the dress and layer it over a fitted long sleeve top and leggings with boots - so many options, and of course it looks adorable by itself too.
