Today we take a look at the Lulu Pattern from Craftiness is not Optional. There is such a sweet simplicity to this pattern that just makes me think of kids at summer time play. It is the kind of dress you can see them sliding down slides in, and eating juicy pieces of watermelon, and running and running and running in........... oh wait, maybe only my kids run that much ;o)

My family loves to go on picnics at the park, and a necessity is a great insulated bag. For now, I can get away with one family bag, but our needs will soon outgrow that! This is a great sized bag, perfect for a summer day at the park, snacks on the go, or even keeping things cool on the way home from the grocery store. Today we take a look at the Amelie and Henri Market Dress. Now, there have been comments in different facbook groups about struggles with this adorable pattern, so we put our reviewers to the test to get the nitty gritty on this vintage inspired summer pattern. All in all, they made gorgeous creations with both pros and a few cons in the construction process. If you are considering sewing this up yourself, read through the reviews for some helpful tips to make sure you create a garment to treasure with no tears along the way. I love bag pattern designers.... I am so impressed at what they create, and the Savannah Bag by Cozy Nest Designs is no exception. I seriously need to make this ASAP to have for summer. My boys are in the midst of potty training, which means spare clothes, spare undies, tons of wipes, wet bags for the accidents, etc...etc....etc... I swear I need to carry more things that when they were newborns and I had an over stuffed diaper bag! This bag loos so perfect in size - and I love the style.
