Lazy Susan by Brownie Goose
/It's been quite a while since I had a chance to review anything, and I selected one of those "oldie but goodie" patterns that truly is a closet staple. Meet The Lazy Susan from Brownie Goose. First thing I'll mention is that this pattern is loaded with options, so it offers great value. The pattern includes the basic version which is a boatneck top/dress with flutter sleeves as well as a herringbone bodice version and a color blocked bodice version. I chose the basic version and jazzed up the bodice a little by adding a contrasting fabric and trims. The bodice is perfect for embroidery, free motion sewing, applique and HTV as well.
The pattern includes button closures, but you could always use snaps as well if you are not a fan of buttonholes.
I borrowed a pocket from the fabulous Emory pattern from Izzy & Ivy for my little treasure collector, and paired the top with the Brownie Goose Darby Shorts (which have an equally adorable pocket you could use on both the shorts and top/dress).
I'm really happy with how this came out and the fit is really great on my daughter.
In fact, I loved it so much I had to make 2 versions!
Brownie Goose also has a brand new release today, and it's on sale right now. Head over to BG and meet And explore more love for Amy's patterns below.
