Here in Northern California temperatures are a sizzling 100 degrees so we have been hanging out at the pool to keep cool! My daughter has been asking for a swimsuit cover up since we started swim lessons and this was the perfect time to sew one up for her.
For this review I chose the Kids Kaftan by Pattern Emporium. This pattern is jam packed with options. Here are some of the features you receive with this pattern:

I was impressed with the amount of instructions and illustrations included with this pattern. This was definitely the most thorough PDF pattern I have ever used. There are 3 full information pages that cover how to choose the correct size and where to measure your child with excellent illustrations. Details on the type of fabric and supplies are provided for each style. Tips on how to print, trace and assemble your pattern as well as cutting instructions are included. You will not be disappointed with everything that is offered in this pattern!
I sewed the wide v-neck beach length with a square hem. It was super hard to decide with all the options so next I think I will try the decorative placket top with fringe trim!
