Happy Holidays! I hope everyone is Merry and Cheery and Bright . . . . I certainly am . . . because my first Grandson (born in the same state) is here! I finished Elliot’s car seat cover just in time!

One of the items they did not receive at either of the baby showers was a car seat cover. A Vision to Remember came to the rescue with this Dinosaur Applique Rag Quilt Car Seat Pattern.

I utilized my embroidery machine to add my grandson’s name on the dinosaur.

And these fabulous scissors made creating the “rag” quilt easy-peasy. If those scissors aren’t available, try these, which are specifically designed for rag quilters.

There was a lot of cutting and piecing and stitching and then cutting again. Just like any quilt you would create.

I was pleasantly surprised at the end result and look forward to making many more . . . . just like this Christmas Easy Peasy Rag Quilt placed onto my rocking chair next to the tree. I’ll be rocking Elliot, my grandson, right here on Christmas Day.
