Marc Shirt by Filles a Maman
My daughter has a dress code at school so I have been determined to find a way to make mommy made, even with a strict dress code. The Marc Shirt seemed like the perfect pattern for her school wardrobe.
The Marc Shirt looked a little intimidating but I have to say, it is not that difficult and goes together fairly quickly. It is designed as a boy shirt, but as you can see it works well for girls as well.
The pattern includes:
- Sizes 12m -14
- Size chart
- Finished measurement chart
- Fabric requirements
- Layered for printing only one size
- Computer drafted pattern pieces
- Easy construction
I love the offset collar, it gives a little twist on the traditional collar.
The pattern calls for a combination of knit and woven cotton and the construction is pretty simple.
I used several coordinating fabrics but it really isn't necessary, one color would look very nice.
