Introducing the Hailey Misses by Modkid. You may have seen the girl's version of the Hailey dress and whished it went up to your size, well - now your wish has been granted. Modkid listened to all the pleas, and decided to release the Hailey in Women's sizing. With options for knit and woven, a gorgeous V neck line, and a comfortable shirred waist line; this may just become a summer staple!

Hi everyone! It's JaNette again..... I was asked to review the Hailey misses size for the upcoming women's bundle. This is a super quick sew just like the little girl's version. I have a 13 year old daughter whose name is ironically, Hailey, and she was willing to *finally* let me make her something.
So Hailey picked out this bright super soft knit fabric from JoAnn's. I ended up getting 3 yards and I'm glad I did. It's hard to match up those stripes! The back of the skirt portion is off but it's the best I could do. I'm not a knit expert like some of our other friendly reviewers...you know who they are!

Since Hailey likes to wear layers and this has a deep V neck, we thought it was best to wear a tank underneath. There was plenty of room and she was very comfortable. The only thing she didn't like was the amount of rows of shirring at the waist so I opted for a lesser amount. Hey it's hard to please those teens!!! But whatever works, right?
This is a great staple to add to your "Go-To Patterns" because this is such a quick sew. I even had time last night to make Jenna the woven version. I love the drape the knit provides but I also love the structure woven has while sewing. There are not many sister sets for my girls age difference but this one seems to work....not too babyish for Hailey and not too grown up for Jenna. Thanks Modkid!!!
