Hello, again! It's Jessica, from Snickerdoodle Stew, bringing you a review of this sweet dress from Cole's Creations. The Buttercup Dress seriously screams SUMMER and so I thought I'd kick it up a notch with this great watermelon knit that I picked up from The Purple Seamstress. There are so many options in this dress. You could seriously make one for every day of the week and not make the same combination!

This dress really should have a subtitle, like "Naptime Nelly." It offers instant gratification in that you can print, cut and sew in less time than it takes to watch 2 episodes of your favorite Netflix series. And I'm SLOW! I seriously spent more time choosing my fabric layout.

There are some really great things about this pattern!

Sizes 1/2-16
For use with knit fabrics, even tees for upcycling and tips for working with knits
12 pages of nested, color-coded pattern pieces
Multiple options for both bodice and skirt
Can be layered for use during colder seasons
Dolly dress pattern (sold separately)

The only part I found a little tricky was getting a smooth line on the point of the bodice with the binding. Just make sure you take your time on that part! Other than that, it was an easy sew and I'm looking forward to making more.
