Next Up from the Bundle UP! patterns is the Calla Lily Skirt from Everything Your Mama Made (EYMM).  This is a great versatile skirt that looks perfectly appropriate walking the beach or going to church.

Cassie here, from Lily Shine Boutique, to share my recent creation and new summer favorite.

Wow. I've sewn up two ladies patterns this week! Must be time to BundleUp with some great #selfcaresewing pdf patterns. Well, EYMM did not disappoint with the NEW Women's Calla Lily Skirt. Summer is here, school's out, and Momma needs a cute and breezy skirt!

Let's check out some of the pattern perks:

- Wide variety of sizes: XS - 5X

- 3 different waistband options: yoga, regular and elastic

- Knits 101, a superb tutorial about choosing the correct knit, and tips for sewing with knit

- Size chart to help you determine which to sew up, as well as finished measurements

- Pattern piece printing guide. Expect to print 20-30 pages depending on size.

- Maternity option

- 2 Different length options

I fell in love with this pattern the minute I read through the directions, the construction is so easy, with clear instructions and photos for visual aide. In about 20 minutes, your skirt can be created from cut to finish. I chose to sew the shorter length option, with the regular waistband.

I love the longer back hemline, just in case there is too much of a breeze! However, I do have some long gams and don't mind showing a little knee. This skirt was the perfect compromise! The pattern gave instructions on how to customize the look of the skirt, from shortening the length, adding length, using less or more overlap, etc. So many options!

The hi/low style is super popular right now. This skirt looks great on a variety of body types, and can be dressed up for date night or left casual for the beach or park.

I love a quick sew, especially when it comes to making something for myself. I only had enough of this chevron knit on hand but I am eager to try this pattern again with a knit with a bit more drape to dress things up. In the meantime, I'll be at the beach in my new Calla Lily Skirt!
