Designer's Challenge- Terra's Treasures
/Hi! I'm Terra from Terra's Treasures! I'm so honored to be apart of this springs designer challenge. Whenever there is a deadline, it's always a challenge. I had so much fun creating this dress pattern. It's beautiful in it's simplicity.
This dress is fully lined which allows all the seams to be enclosed for a professional finish inside and out.
My inspiration for this dress was all of the cute little dresses with bows on the front. I ended up with this fun detailing at the front, almost like a 3D bow that's part of the dress. Along with the lace it creates this gorgeous sweetheart neckline.
The back of the dress features a lower neckline with buttons and button loops. No button holes!
The optional lace at the hem and contrasting trim really gives some pop to this dress and made for a lot of fun sewing.
