Hi there! I'm Stacey, the designer behind Beatnik Kids (formerly Oh Boy Patterns). I'm so excited to be participating (and finishing up) the Designer's Challenge. I'm following in the footsteps of some amazing designers and count myself very privileged to be releasing a pattern in this fabulous challenge, especially since it goes right along with the spirit of Beatnik Kids- unique digital patterns for kids with character.

The Bond Top is an intermediate, unisex digital pattern in sizes 2T- 8 years intended for a mixed of knit and woven fabrics. The bib top has a Henley style button placket, collar, 3/4 length sleeves and a slight high-low hem.

The bib, button placket, and collar provide endless opportunities for playing with contrast fabrics. Choose a bold woven fabric to spice up the Henley placket and collar and pair it with a solid knit or go for a monochrome look with the knit and woven fabrics but use a contrasting placket that will provide just a hint of color.

The mix of knit and woven fabrics allows for comfort and play-ability while the button placket adds just enough class to make this top worthy of special events. You know, like James Bond style party crashing.
