Designer's Challenge - Swoon Sewing Patterns
/I've been waiting and waiting and now...It's finally my day to release the Betty Bowler as part of the awesome Designer's Challenge. The goal here was to write up a pattern that was something new and challenging for me... which admittedly was the Stella Weekender! But she was released a bit too early, so here we have Betty. While not overly challenging (she's really Dottie's big sister), she wasn't a simple walk in the park either.
Betty has a sideways exterior zippered pocket, two stripes, long handles... she'd the perfect size for a diaper bag with some pocket adjustments. Her pockets inside are open and separated with a line of stitching. The piping makes the bag look oh-so-professional!
I'm not gonna lie... she's personally my favorite bag to date, and a sure favorite among the testers also! In fact, I've committed myself to making TEN of them for Christmas. Yes...ten... I better get my rear in gear.
