So my favorite posts from last year were our 'The Night Before Christmas' Series. Not only were there tons of wonderful stories about Christmas Eve traditions, there were tons of fun Pajama's to share. I have been making PJ's for my kiddos and their cousins for the last three years, and it is a tradition that I hope to keep up for quite a while.

Lights decorating the town, huge blow up snow men on your neighbors lawn, Christmas trees and decorations in ever store and window front. If this isn't the time to let our sewing go over the top, then I don't know when is!!!

One of my favorite things that I have started as a new tradition with my kiddos, is making them new PJs to wear Christmas Eve and into Christmas morning. I just love that as they go to sleep on such an exciting night, they are wrapped in handmade love.

Read MoreSo of course Mack's Fall wardrobe also needed a fun fall coat. Coats are a great place to go all out, find fabric you love, add notions, spend time on it.... why??? Well, because a coat is going to get the most wear out of your child's wardrobe. They will wear it daily and it will go every where with them. Part of the reason I love making coats is the reward of seeing them worn so often.
