New Year, New Uses: Upcycling Everything

I love to upcycle. When I started blogging almost four years ago, pretty much everything I made was an upcycle. I didn't have much money or fabric, but I had plenty of people willing to give me their bags bound for Goodwill. Over time, I've had the opportunity to work with fabric companies and earn money from my pattern designs to purchase new fabric, but I still have upcycling roots.

Dressing up in the Bateau Garden Dress

The holidays are quickly approaching, and that means that every mama of a little girl is looking for the perfect pretty dress to wear. Well, look no further than the Bateau Garden Dress from Winter Wear Designs. The pattern fits size 1-14, has two different back options: a classic scoop or a fun strappy back, two different skirts: a box pleat circle skirt or a double box pleat rectangular skirt and includes an optional petticoat. Our girls have dressed up the Bateau, taking it out of the garden and making it the showstopper for the holiday events coming up in your life.
