The Spinny Mini by Duchess and Hare:

Hi Everyone!  It’s Weatherly from Love and Lilies Designs, and today I’m talking to you about the Spinny Mini from Duchess & Hare.  If you are like me you love options from patterns and this one has some really awesome options!

Your options include:

• Two collar options - peter pan or pointed  open half collar

• Two skirt options - full circle mini skirt or an above the knee gathered skirt

• Two sleeve lengths - short or ¾

• Bloomers

For my Spinny Mini I chose the peter pan collar, above the knee gathered skirt, ¾ sleeves, and no bloomers.  This Kansas weather has been all over the place lately so I knew that I wanted to be able to easily dress this for cooler or warmer weather and these options were perfect for that!  I also decided to size up to a 3T because my daughter fell right in between sizes and I wanted her to be able to wear it longer.

Overall, this was a quick sew and the pattern was easy to follow.  I love that the pdf includes jump points that you can click on to take you to the step you need for your options so you do not have to scroll through multiple steps that don’t apply to your dress.  I also appreciate the pictures that accompany each step making it ideal for beginners. I think this is such a cute pattern that would work for everyday dresses or creating something special for your little.  My daughter loved wearing this dress and picked the fabric out herself!
