The Prisma Dress by Love Notions
/ Katie HancockToday is Day Five and our final day of our Spring Dress week. Today, we have the Prisma Dress from Love Notions. I love how cute and twirly this one is! Plus with all of the options this dress has, it's perfect for any season.
I make it no secret that I love sewing with Knits. My daughter much prefers to wear knits and while I love girly dresses, she is not so keen on super girly stuff. So when Love Notions released the Prisma Dress, I really wanted to sew her one.
This dress pattern comes packed with options, you can get so many looks from the one pattern. I made the drop waist dress with the flared skirt, added button tabs and a collar. I made the long sleeve version as we are headed into Winter here (so jealous of all you northern hemispherites).
The dress came together so easily. I made my daughter a five, as she’s just under the measurments for a five, but well above a four and the fit is perfect. I used a Lillestoff cotton lycra that I’ve been hoarding for ages and I love the result. I can’t wait to sew another version!
