Quinn Fever
/Summer is here, and with it comes all the fun and business of warm temperatures and the kids out of school. With all three of my kiddos now underfoot and the temperatures well past my comfort level, I'm back in those days of needing quick sewing projects. The Quinn and Mama Quinn from Made for Mermaids fit the bill perfectly. With few pieces and lots of options, these patterns will have your closet full in a jiffy while still allowing you time to hit the park, the pool, and the sheets at a decent hour.
Now one of the things i really enjoy about these patterns is that they are coordinating but not matching. Girls and Women's bodies are different and the exact same style doesn't necessarily translate from one to the other. So these patterns have similar elements like the strap variations and V neck, while having differences that are age appropriate. Both pattern have 4 length options ranging from top to maxi.
Our team had a lot of fun sewing these up, and I even got in on the action! So here are our creations:
I went with the V back Mama Quinn Top - I loved the clean classic lines and the simplicity of the top. I'm wearing a strapless with this, but I think I have a strapped bra that I just might be able to pull off with this style.
