If there is one thing in this world that I know I am good at-- it is spotting talent, especially talent that is ready to be taken to the next level. When I launched this blog last year, I knew I could not do it alone. I happened upon Suzanne Winter one day in a sewing Facebook group and asked her if she might like to write a review for the blog. I checked out her blog Winter Wonderings & Whatnot and knew right away she held some serious potential on top of her already impressive goings on. Since then, Suzanne has become my right hand woman here as the review coordinator.

But she has also been busy developing another dream: pattern design.

Suzanne offered to do a review of Lauren Dahl's Pattern Workshop back when it launched to help answer some of the questions we were hearing from fans about the course. Though she had been making her own designs for years, Suzanne needed a little help to turn her hobby into a business, and the Pattern Workshop did just that.
