Sew-A-Bration of Womanhood Celebrating Women
I am so happy to be posting on behalf of Pattern Revolution for Sew-a-bration of Womanhood. I have been sewing for myself a lot lately, and I am really enjoying the
Self-Care sewing! I was asked to sew the
Daisy Chain Dress that is in the new edition of
One Thimble E-zine.
I just love the Daisy Chain Dress, it is such a cute and versatile dress. I love that I can wear this little number from the carpool to a night out with the girls.
I like that it is a little clingy but not skin tight.
The Daisy Chain comes in sizes 2XS to 2XL, I made the small but should have made the XS.
The construction of the dress is very easy and the instructions are clear. It only took me a couple of hours to finish my dress.
Here is the Stella Weekender again. This bag turned out so cute! I'm giving it to my mom for Mother's Day, I hope she likes it. The bag is not hard, there are lots of little details and steps to follow. I made the mistake of winging it on my own but it is imperative to follow the directions exactly. The directions give the exact details of construction, so follow the directions exactly as written. This bag took me many hours to finish, but it was worth the work.
This has become one of my favorite dresses. I love it when my friends ask me where I got my outfit and I tell them I made it. That is an awesome feeling!
