Celebrating Christmas: Party On
/We know that the Holidays are filled with parties - whether it be a school party or program, a fancy dress up party for a company celebration, or the family friendly party filled with neighbors and friends. Here are some amazing looks to get you inspired for all of the parties you and your littles may attend this month! We have Kari and Alexis sharing today....
My 5 year old started Kindergarten this year and that means she'll need a party outfit for her school celebration... I mean, that's why we sew, right?! I thought it would be super cute if I sent her to school as a gingerbread girl and she excitedly agreed.
In order to keep the outfit school-friendly, we chose to pair the Everyday Play Skirt by Little Lizard King with a t-shirt made using the bodice from Drop Waist Diva also by Little Lizard King. I embellished the skirt with jumbo ric rac to mimic the frosting on a gingerbread cookie and added a little face to her shirt, using the face template of Gingerbread Girl Apron by Precious Patterns. To top off the look (literally...lol), I made a Sweet Grace Ruffled Headband by Snickerdoodle Stew. Don't you just want to eat her up?!
