Winter Accessories by Jalie
/Hello, Heather from All Things Katy! Here in the Carolinas, we’ve enjoyed our Indian Summer of warmer temperatures, no jackets and plenty of sun. However, with the winter holidays approaching, we’re ready to turn our attention to cooler mornings, winter jackets and today, Jalie’s Fleece Winter Accessories!
Jalie’s Fleece Winter Accessories includes pattern pieces and instructions to sew up a hat (two different styles), mittens, neck warmer and slippers. Sizes included in the patterns go from baby all the way up to men’s sizes. That’s a HUGE size range and a lot of bang for your buck! I love when a pattern can include the whole family (no extra add-ons or additional patterns to purchase)!
I sewed up the “View B” hat and neckwarmer from Jalie’s Fleece Winter Accessories. Simple step-by-step instructions with included line drawings make these accessories easy to follow and sew. The perfectly placed notches leave no room for error and makes sure that pattern pieces line up. I love that the hat covers the ears and is reversible. Since I knew that my daughter would never use the included ties, I did not include them in my version. The neck warmer literally took me ten minutes to cut, sew and finish- so, so, SEW easy! I cannot wait to make the mittens and slippers!
