'POP' into Spring with Andover Fabrics' Pop Rox Collection

I was so excited to get the e-mail to sew up some outfits from the gorgeous new line by Andover Fabric called Pop Rox. This is the perfect fabric to get you in the mood for Spring and Summer.... Easter dresses anyone???? The collection has two color ways, and while I went with the Sugar line, the Cocoa line is fairly elegant and I can even envision it in some boys wear!
I picked a variety of fabrics to create these two super fun and bright outfits for my baby girl. First I went with one of my favorite summer patterns the Adelaide Vintage Romper by our affiliate Peek A Boo Patterns. I mixed the fun Pink Chevron with the Mandarin solid - what I really love about the solids in this line is that they have a linen texture, so amazing to work with.
Next I wanted a fun dress - this is going to be baby girl's Easter Dress, I channeled my inner easter egg decorator and paired two of the prints together with two solids to create the gorgeous Millie Rose Double Ruffle Dress. My daughter is a huge fan of purple at the moment, and the green solid made me think of grass and new leaves budding on the trees. I am so in love with this dress, the prints make me think of bubble gum and pixi sticks and warm summer days ahead.
