Hey all! Carrie here from Beri Bee Designs to share a little more about an awesome skirt from Sofilantjes. We can’t have enough knit skirts for summer, and this one is so simple you won’t be able to resist adding a few (or ten! haha) to your girls summer wardrobes.

The directions are very clear and even have a quick summary version at the end of the pattern for more experienced seamstresses to save a little time. I also really love patterns that allow for layers in the pdf so that I can print just the size we need. In addition there is a chart that lets you know which pages you need for the size and view you would like to make.

The Gemini comes with 2 different skirt patterns, you heard that right, not just different options but completely different patterns. I chose to make the double layered circle skirt that also has a split front, so its a tad different than some others you may have seen. The second option is a short fitted skirt with front pockets. Both skirts feature a yoga waistband which my daughter pretty much insists on lately so that’s an added bonus.
