I was assigned Cole's Creation! And the choice of sewing what I wanted! Hip Hip !! I hesitated between super suits Bow-A-Licious and All 4 One Stylish Swimsuit PDF, girls really need swimwear for the summer. My choice was finally arrested on a skirt and sweater: Katie John Skirt and Neverland Shirt. Absolutely nothing to see with the swiwsuits! Nicole, the designer also sent me the pattern of the "Dolly" version of the skirt. I love the mini Pan collar on the sweater. The pattern is designed for long sleeves, but I shortened and added a small elastic at the bottom of the inning to make small gathering. Adèle also loves the pockets on the skirt and the elastic waisted back. The PDF is very well built, the instructions are clear and the pattern pieces are well drawn. It was a quick and easy project that I like! Sew happy!! Little more pics on my blog at fillesamaman.net Mel xoxo

I hardly ever have time to sew up other designer's patterns, but I'm always wishing I had more time to! So, I loved the idea of this designer swap! I could sign up and have a deadline to "make" me finish ;) I got assigned the California dress by EYMM, which happened to be one of my very favorite designs in Kymy's collection! It's a simple dress you could do in a ton of different looks/fabrics and wear all spring, summer, and fall long! She always has a ton of options that wrap up in a quick easy sew! Come take a look at the options and modifications I choose for mine! I love the dress I ended with!

This is Heidi, from Pollywoggles, and I’m thrilled that I get to share with you my take on BebeLambs super cute Elle-Belle Romper, which I got to sew up for this week’s Designer Pattern Swap!

There are a lot of options in this pattern, but with summer approaching I chose to do the bubble shorts, and I absolutely had to include the cute knot pocket option. I had some nautical fabric that was perfect for this design and I couldn’t resist pairing it with some awesome big red buttons.

I made this as a gift for a friend, and I think her little one is really happy with her new romper! You can read a little more about the pattern and my fabric choices on my facebook page today.

Hi! This is Chrissy from Muse of the Morning. I'm really excited to be reviewing Sandy's Tunic from Lily Bird Studio today on my blog. I really enjoyed sewing up this pattern. The pintucks and keyhole in the sleeve make this a really unique and fun top for my Lil'Miss. Come on over and see the whole review along with even more pics!!
